Manager, E-commerce Systems

Summary:

This position is responsible for managing the activities and day-to-day operations for the Product Information Management application and E-commerce systems set up, functionality and support. The E-commerce Manager, is required to follow standards for Development and IT Architecture, set forth by the Director of Enterprise Solutions, VP of Software and VP of Architecture. The Manager is responsible to demonstrate transparency by recording project and incident activity in a structured, timely and accurate method including timely and accurate time reporting. This leader is responsible for ensuring their team delivers value to the businesses and support areas with a high energy, results-oriented mentality. Must be committed to high quality, fast delivery and user satisfaction. Must be committed to clear, accurate and concise communications with all levels of the IT and Business Teams, including cross team communications and collaboration. Must be proactive and manage all updates and upgrades in a timely and efficient manager without disrupting the business. Must be committed to a rigorous incident management process, which includes recording incident resolutions, building a knowledge library as part of the resolution process, promoting user self-service and driving incident numbers and incident work time down.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Stays informed of technology and trends and makes recommendations to senior management
  • Ensures the timely evaluation and resolution of application defects
  • Software Development Lifecycle best practices
  • Able to foster growth of IT development talent
  • Communicates issue resolution status appropriately to all levels of the IT organization
  • Creates appropriate metrics which demonstrate transparency
  • Manages IT leadership expectations and relationships
  • Works well with other members of the IT and Business teams
  • Manages staff of IT professionals and ensures all team members work synergistically with the entire IT organization
  • Ensures compliance with corporate IT regulatory and auditing requirements
  • Embraces the company’s core values
  • Works closely with the Application Development and Enablement leaders to aid in the turnover of new applications and feedback of support issues for existing applications

Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports to the Director of Enterprise Application Solutions
  • Has direct reports

Requirements:

  • High technical capability
  • System and integration Configuration experience/background
  • System Updates and Upgrade Experience
  • 5+ years of senior level technical experience
  • 3+ years of team management
  • Excellent knowledge of business objectives and strategies
  • Excellent management skills
  • Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations and organization skills
  • Able to resolve problems creatively and in a timely manner without disrupting team dynamics
  • Demonstrated history of productivity breakthroughs using process, structure and reusability

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science

  • OData Experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time
  • Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for the position
  • Ability to handle high stress at times
  • Ability to travel, as required by business needs

Compensation:

Compensation Range: $135,000 – $145,000

Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
