A leading University is seeking a Project Manager. The successful candidate will support a multi-year initiative to improve Research Administration Operations for the School of Medicine. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of related experience and working in an Agile/performance improvement project environment, at the program management level (5 projects plus oversight/governance structure). Project Manager Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $65/hr
- Worksite: Leading University (Stanford, CA 94305 – Hybrid)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the leadership of the initiative to manage five process improvement project teams that will be responsible for developing, testing, and evaluating improvements in pre-award processes for research projects and clinical studies.
- Develop a plan to monitor and track the progress of the five project teams.
- Design and implement standard processes and tools for the project teams to track, coordinate, and report on their tasks, tests of change, progress, and outcomes.
- Schedule and attend project team meetings; record meeting notes and action items.
- Coordinate with project team facilitators and provide guidance to facilitate progress and remove any obstacles for the teams.
- Monitor and synthesize the progress of the project teams and escalate any issues to leadership.
Project Manager Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Skilled at working in an Agile/performance improvement project environment.
- Skilled at working at the program management level (5 projects plus oversight/governance structure).
- Action-driven and swift in carrying out tasks and meeting deadlines, minimizing any potential delays.
- Skilled at maintaining a high level of organization to offer timely status updates and address any emerging questions, while remaining adaptable to shifting priorities within improvement projects.
- Demonstrated skill in effectively prioritizing tasks.
- Skilled communicator with demonstrated ability to establish clear and open lines of communication to guarantee alignment among team members.
Project Manager Shift:
- Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
