The Corporate IT Infrastructure Operations team (IO) is focused on running Amazon’s corporate campus & building infrastructure worldwide. This includes everything from wired and wireless networking to the AV systems in our conference rooms. Where there’s technology at play in these buildings, our team is responsible for keeping it healthy and running as designed. Who are you

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager who has worked in IT Operations as part of a large organization. You should have experience working globally, with strong IT infrastructure knowledge and background. Experience driving programs around continuous improvement, get to green projects, shift left and delivering true business intelligence via storytelling. Working with managed services to drive accountability and define objectives is important in this role. We obsess about the customer and you should be someone who strives for the best possible experience when setting strategy. What will you do

As the Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager for Global IT Infrastructure Operational Excellence, you will help define and drive strategic programs and initiatives, setting the organization up for future growth while driving continuous improvements in our operating model. This role is transformational, playing the key role in our efforts to create global consistency worldwide. Regional processes and tooling need to be transformed globally as we build a singular support organization. You will drive a commitment to quality within our organization, ensuring our processes deliver the intended outcomes the first time.

As part of this role, you will drive our strategic supplier relationships and strategy for operations, helping craft the foundation for future managed services. You will create the business requirements documents for RFPs, being a key leader in creating the statement of work (SOWs) documents and defining outcomes. You will drive supplier MBRs with your operational partners and oversee Service Improvement Plans (SIPs) as required once our services are established.

Overall you will deliver Operational Excellence for Infrastructure Operations! This role is an individual contributor with the potential to move into people management as our organization grows. This role’s scope is global across all Amazon corporate infrastructure.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 7+ years’ experience in program or project management.
• 3+ years’ experience working with data center or corporate infrastructure and / or operations.
• Fundamental understanding of Corporate IT network and building Infrastructure.
• Bachelor degree in a computer science, engineering or technical degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience working with managed service agreements and / or supplier management
• Experience working with cross-functional teams at global scale.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• PMP Certification or equivalent.
• Experienced with ITIL V3/4 and moderate understanding of core support.
• Process improvement skills (Lean, Kaizen, Gemba).
• Proficiency with ServiceNow, SQL, Quicksight, Tableau and other database and analytics tools.
• The ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
• High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Experience prioritizing demands, scoping large efforts and negotiating timelines.
• Root cause analysis and complex problem-solving skills.
• Experience analyzing data and translating into business requirements for process, tooling, or organizational changes.
• A passion for delivering results and building trust with internal and external stakeholders.
• A proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
