We are looking for or a highly-motivated, innovative and results-oriented Programming Coordinator to join the team. The role will focus on coordinating and operationalizing the programming strategy set by the Head of Content, inputting and ensuring the content categorization in internal systems is aligned with overall goals and takes in consideration local customer’s needs, available content, advertising campaigns plan and positioning. S/he is responsible of the day-to-day content planning, premiere dating processes, and scheduling in partnership with international programming teams and other stakeholders.
This role requires a detail-oriented scheduler responsible for operationalizing content planning and programming efforts in CANZ. S/he will focus on working with the Programming Manager on executing the programming strategy. S/he will operationalize the programming strategies considering the possible different behavior based on device, calendar events and customer segmentation.
The successful candidate is a self-starter who is able to prioritize and deliver on deadlines with minimal supervision. S/he will be data-driven with a proven track record in content programming and scheduling skills, either linear or non-linear. S/he should be able to think/act strategically and execute hands on with a start-up type of mentality. S/he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be comfortable diving deep into the data, yet able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities.
This person must have strong written and verbal communications skills as well as the ability to influence others and strong cross-functional leadership. S/he will be drafting summaries of the planned programming rollouts for senior executives. The role will have no direct reports but will need to engage and drive things across a broad set of stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
• Execute a comprehensive content programming strategy to acquire and engage customers with Prime Video focused on content launch
• Support the creation of quarterly programming strategy reviews to be presented to Amazon leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
• Set content categorization at a title level inside Amazon’s Internal Programming Systems/Mechanisms
• Deliver medium- and long-term goals and KPIs for content performance
• Partner with a wide-range of internal teams (from Marketing to Tech teams) to identify and prioritize needs for the Exclusive and Original shows and films
• Manage blocking issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and meet committed delivery timelines
• Own the data quality of Amazon’s programming launch calendar and ensure title readiness for major title launches
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Microsoft Office products and applications (esp. Excel)
- Bachelor Degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Content Programming and or scheduling on TV industry strongly preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $48,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $116,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
