What you’ll be doing day to day

Now is an exciting time to join IKEA and be part of its omnichannel growth strategy! IKEA is opening new stores and locations and strengthening its fulfillment network to secure more delivery options in different regions across the country.
As a Project Implementation Specialist, leading and coordinate the build-up process, you will:

Contribute with knowledge and expertise during the Design and Planning phase of store components that Customer Fulfillment (CFF) is accountable for in new stores and major remodels.

Establish routines and oversee the on-site work during the project implementation phase.

Ensure that routines, needed structures and safety are in place during the implementation phase of the project by providing management, leadership, support, and training to the store Goods Flow functions.

Contribute to the Commercial Brief for Commercial Planning, including the review of proposed drawings from IKEA Design Team, the Schematic review process, Developed and Technical design of architectural drawings.

Ensure that the US Country and Global Customer Fulfillment guidelines for logistics solutions are adhered to in the implementation of new stores/major fulfilment remodels.

Coordinate the ordering and quality of material handling equipment with INGKA Procurement. Ensure equipment meets logistics standards and demands. Coordinate tasks related to racking layouts, construction timelines, project receiving schedules, equipment needs, and resource plans as part of the Project Team.

Contribute to the Project Budget for Customer Fulfillment areas and participate in cost monitoring. Report any deviations from the approved budget and collaborate on mitigation strategies as an expertise center within the project scope.

Coordinate processes with Central Fulfilment partners, Terminal/Traffic, and Fulfillment & Availability Support to ensure correct ordering routines are in place and schedules are met.

Provide on-site support and leadership to the store’s Goods Flow functions during the project. Ensure compliance with local requirements and IKEA standards for routines, structures, and safety.

Coordinate with project IT/Digital partners to ensure the necessary systems and IT/digital infrastructure are in place and operational.

BENEFITS ELIGIBLE- Yes
HOURS -Your typical business hours will be 9am to 5pm. However, the hours for this role may include late night or overnight shifts depending on project installation period.
TRAVEL- 50% of the time during project implementation and build up
SALARY DISCLOSURE- The ideal pay range for this role is $74,497 – $108,020 based on the Conshohocken Pay Tier. The pay range may vary based on your location.

QUALIFICATIONS

5 years retail experience in logistics or goods flow processes.

Expertise in logistic systems and administrative procedures.

Experience using Excel and Computer Aid Design (CAD) or ability to learn specific program applications.

Training & facilitation skills with an ability to share knowledge.

Excellent communication skills.

Experience in multi-tasking, prioritizing workloads in multiple projects, and meeting aggressive deadlines.

Experience to convert project goals into attractive and affordable solutions.
