Primary Responsibilities
The Sales Enablement Specialist role reports to the Sales Enablement Director and supports day to day activities within the Promotions Team by coordinating (or in some cases, owning) inner-department operational and administrative efforts. The Sales Enablement Specialist will develop, maintain, and manage all inner-department databases, tools, intel and tracking used by the Promotions and Sales Enablement teams. This role will serve as the engineer of operations within KeHE’s regional promotions team. As with all positions at KeHE, it is expected that all actions of the Sales Enablement Specialist will be consistent with KeHE’s Mission, Vision and Values.
Essential Functions
- Supports Promotions team’s day-to-day operations including but not limited to program detail management and communications, project management, centralized database management, unified team effort coordination, and administrative work.
- Oversees Promotions team tools, databases and platforms including maintenance, management, development and adding of new where/when necessary.
- Oversees Promotional program publishing process including but not limited to, collecting/organizing data, creating promotional events, loading promotional event data and maintaining event progress.
- Supports inner-department communications, records, event/meeting coordination and project management.
- Works hand in hand with the Sales Enablement Director to generate reports on a recurring or ad-hoc basis.
- Works closely with the Promotions Projects Manager to support any ad-hoc project work from an administrative perspective.
- Supports tracking and review of regular and ad-hoc initiatives such as sales goals, program status and progress, incentive tracking, etc.
- Organizes regularly used reports distributed to other departments.
- Acts as an inbound point of contact relay for inter-department communications and inquiry.
- Acts as point of contact relay with new lead/business generation and inquiry.
- Distributes monthly performance evaluation reports to all brands participating in promotional programs.
- Communicate on a regular basis with the Regional/National Broker and Supplier personnel.
- Maintains contact lists of our Regional Vendors, Brokers, and Suppliers.
- Take on cross-functional program opportunities to expand working knowledge of overall KeHE Distribution and Marketing.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
- Associate’s degree preferred in business or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years working within CPG industry.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook and familiarity with Power BI Dashboards and SPINS data.
- Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations, both verbally and in writing to internal and external audiences.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced business environment.
- Ability to adapt approach and demeanor to match the shifting demands of different situations with confidence to prioritize conflicting timelines
- Project management skills.
- Team player that works to build trust through collaboration with others both internally and externally.
