ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Handling and Moving Objects – Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving materials, and manipulating things.
- Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates – Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Cleans and strips plating parts.
- Utilizes various hazardous chemicals appropriately in order to strike, wash, rinse, oxidize, deoxidize, blast, passivate, and lubricate parts.
- Sizes, racks, plugs, measures, and troubleshoots production parts and assemblies.
- Operates cadmium plating, anodizing, cleaning, passivation, Chem Film and assemblies.
- Properly disposes of chemicals following policies and procedures.
- Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings – Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
- Must have evening availability as this position is for 2nd Shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.

EDUCATION:
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Must be able to give and receive written and oral instructions in English.
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience working on a plating line as well as using a micrometer are necessary.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ELEMENTS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works indoors within the plating room and manufacturing areas.
- The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate or loud.
- The employee is regularly required to sit and talk or to hear.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds unaided.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs. Pay Range: $20 to $30/hour.
