About the Role
We’re looking for a talented people leader to build and own a multi-tier Creator program that will include in-house creators, influencers and ambassadors, as well as a creative community. We expect this person to not only own all traditional influencer marketing but also build a robust program focused on bringing Creators in house to support the growth of the VIAVIA platform. The ideal candidate has their finger on the pulse of the Creator/influencer space, has a strong vision for how we can create such an innovative program, and also has the grit to execute on that vision. As part of the execution, this person will be responsible for scouting, negotiating contracts, training and managing creators. Additionally, this person will also own all gifting programs, events and activation, and content strategy. This is a great opportunity for someone who is excited to help build a brand from the ground up.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Actively source, identify and onboard new Creators who align with our brand values and our business needs
- Handle contract negotiations with ease, all while maintaining a respectful relationship
- Establish and maintain regular communication between the brand and creators or influencer partners
- Set goals, track conversions, and manage deliverables from Creators effectively
- Develop strategic campaigns and identify growth opportunities with Creator partners
- Monitor Creator content to ensure compliance with brand voice and guidelines
- Support all influencer activations (virtual and in person), seasonal initiatives, and gifting program
- Serve as a direct line between VIAVIA and the company’s creator group, all while being a representative of the company and our values
- With company growth, lead and develop teams and reports
Experience & Skills Include
- 5+ years in influencer marketing and a proven track record of building and nurturing relationships within the influencer space. Bonus points for experience from an agency background
- Ability to own budget and contract negotiation
- Experience running campaigns, activations and influencer programs, honing in on critical KPIs and data
- Strong project management skills and ability to stay organized when dealing with multiple priorities
- An active pulse on emerging influencers and trends through various social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook
- Works with a high sense of urgency and integrity, easily and quickly adapts to change, and is motivated by deadlines and new challenges
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; can patiently and effectively communicate with a diverse and multicultural group of peers across time zones and continents
- Nimble, scrappy and adaptable. Can roll with the punches and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment, including pitching in to support other persons and teams
- A positive, can-do attitude. You’re not deterred by minor setbacks and are able to swiftly overcome ambiguity
- Will consistently cultivate a culture of inclusion where all team members feel a sense of belonging and can bring their authentic selves to work
- Ability to travel as needed, including internationally
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office programs and other workload management programs
- Bonus points for experience in the fashion space.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive compensation ($130,000 – $160,000) including generous equity in a well-funded environment. This role’s final level, job title and corresponding salary will be determined by the selected candidate’s professional experiences and related skill sets.
