Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Contract teams to win opportunities and deliver promised business results.
Work with our Vendor partners through all stages of the project life cycle; including but not limited to: product development, cost improvement strategies, accurate quoting, tracking of submittals for approval (shop drawings, finish samples, tear sheets, etc), production lead times and consolidation opportunities.
Provide timely and proactive updates to the various project teams.
Facilitate SKU set ups and place all special purchase orders for complex customer projects (customized products, large SPO’s and COM/COL)
Facilitate and manage all aspects of the COM/COL process; including but not limited to; verifying consumption requirements, application, need by milestones and expediting.
Manage the on-order pipeline of complex customer projects special purchase orders to ensure production and shipping milestones are maintained.
Participate in weekly project status review meetings to share comprehensive updates on complex special purchase orders.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant work experience
• Intensely customer-focused
• Experience working with tight deadlines and the need to constantly multi-task and prioritize
• Strong attention to detail
• Advanced knowledge of Excel with aptitude to learn new systems quickly
• Passion for working in the challenging B2B Contract business
• Able to maintain and build effective relationships with cross-functional teams
• Self-starting, pro-active, inquisitive and solution driven – but also comfortable in a feedback-orientated and collaborative environment
• Strong organizational, project management and time management skills
