Job Responsibilities:
• Assist Head of Trade Execution in firm-wide block trading functions including model creation and portfolio analysis, client participation, trade execution, trade allocation, and post-trade records and documentation
• Assist with daily trading requests and operations for internal staff across different asset classes, including equities, fixed income, cash management, and alternatives
• Ability to execute trades at multiple Custodians
• Domain expert in Tamarac Reporting and Trading; ability to leverage technology integrations to drive firm trading efficiencies
• Attend weekly Investment Communication Meetings to understand Investment Committee strategy and recommendations
• Assist Head of Trade Execution prepare and monitor firm-wide portfolio management KPIs such as model deviation, cash, target asset allocation, trade errors, and non-guidance list securities
• Assist with trade error and cancel rebill process and any remediation required to prevent future occurrences
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business preferred
• FINRA Series 65 license
• 3+ years industry experience, preferably in a trading and/or portfolio management role
• Experience using Tamarac Reporting and Trading technology solutions (or equivalent) preferred
• Equity and mutual fund trading experience, fixed income a plus
• Understanding of financial markets, trading principles, and investment strategies
• Familiarity with industry Custodian platforms (TD Ameritrade/Charles Schwab, Fidelity)
