Description
The employee performs basic custodial duties as assigned; cleans, sanitizes and restocks restrooms, dusts furniture, sweeps and mops floors, vacuums carpets and removes trash. May clean windows and other glass areas. May assists with grounds maintenance activities and performs other duties as assigned.

6. Ensures deodorizers are full of product.
B. Offices, Meeting Rooms, Public Areas
1. Strips and waxes floors, and buffs floors as scheduled.
2. Sweeps and mops floors.
3. Cleans office areas; dusts furniture, removes trash and replaces liners.
4. Vacuums carpeted areas.
5. Cleans windows and other glass areas as needed or scheduled.
6. Mops and sweeps kitchen areas and removes trash.
C. Miscellaneous
1. May assist with grounds maintenance activities.
2. May assist with moving and storage of furniture and other items.
3. Loads and transports equipment to other works sites as needed.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Knowledge of custodial care standards for assigned facilities.
2. Ability to effectively communicate with assigned supervisor.
3. Ability to comprehend cleaning product labels and equipment operations instructions.
4. Ability to walk, stand, stoop and bend for considerable periods of time.
5. Ability to operate floor maintenance equipment and use cleaning tools related to job activities.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Some experience in cleaning of commercial facilities preferred.
2. Ability to work nonstandard hours and weekends when needed.
3. Possess a valid Alabama driver’s license.
4. Must meet City of Enterprise physical standards which include drug and alcohol testing.
