Documentation Specialist – Parametric

General Description

The Documentation Specialist is responsible for a variety of duties relating to institutional client onboarding, contracts, private funds and firm documentation. The role requires excellent time management skills to meet multiple deadlines, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal and external clients.

Primary Responsibilitie

– Prepare draft agreements and other documentation for clients and private funds. Coordinate efforts with Parametric’s internal legal counsel; understand and resolve complex issues, and present final documents to the satisfaction of all parties.

– Specific documentation may include investment management agreements and guidelines, broker agreements, authorization documents, ISDAs and related documents, fund offering documents and service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.

– Review and process bilateral trade confirmations and other documentation relating to bilateral and OTC trading.

– Work closely with Parametric’s trading, operations, and business development professionals supporting institutional investors to oversee outstanding issues while providing regular status updates. Be prepared to speak to the specific terms pursued or contained in agreements and related policies.

– Work with legal and compliance to ensure that Parametric’s regulatory and contractual obligations, notifications and client deliverables are met, and that required communications are documented and executed as appropriate. Research client specific legal and factual issues such as unique industry or locality issues that influence the relationship.

– Have primary responsibility for the maintenance of client files and the retention of documents in an organized manner, making use of technology to ensure access to current documents is efficient and secure. Be responsible for the ongoing improvement of the organizations’ document management and control methodology.

– Support department processes related to client AML/KYC, account setup and terminations, and record maintenance; assist with internal and external audits and controls testing.

Qualifications:

Job Requirement

– Bachelor’s Degree

– J.D. or Paralegal with relevant financial agreement experience preferred

– 5+ years of industry experience

– Ability to multi task and prioritize while working in a fast-paced team environment

– Excellent verbal and written communication skill

– Ability to pay great attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality

– Embrace technology solutions to enhance and control the proce

– Commercially minded with a solutions driven approach

– Ongoing desire to improve and build upon current approach

– Document management experience

– Knowledge of futures, options, bilateral and Over-The-Counter derivative financial transactions and related documents a plu

Wage Transparency Statement

Salary range for the position: $70,000- $150,000. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
