Job Description
LaSalle is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Specialist position at a client that is a leader in the Real Estate Investment and Property Management industry. This company holds a diversified portfolio of residential and commercial properties to leverage their extensive knowledge across the entire real estate field. The company has won numerous awards for a Best Place to work in Illinois and Chicago and is continuing to grow their team.
As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Division Manager and the VP of Finance. This division manages the accounting for their industrial properties, and the Accounts Payable Specialist handles all payables for their portfolio.
Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:
- Process incoming invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements and accounts
- Monitor AP email inbox
- Handle communication with vendors when needed
- Participate in the month end close process
Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:
- Experience processing 100+ invoices a day
- Experience with an ERP system
- 2-5 years of accounts payable experience
- Experience communicating with vendors
- Ability to come in the office five days a week
