DESCRIPTION
Responsible for Physical Therapy patient service delivery including evaluation and treatment of routine patients. This position will help service our Hemophilia and Thrombosis populations. Completes required documentation and communicates patient information across the continuum of care. Participates in training and program development, represents the department to the medical and general community. Demonstrates competence in the UCSD Health core values. This position will cover clinic one day per week consistently, plus coverage for when regular PT is attending conferences or otherwise out of the office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy approved by the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, eligibility for registration by the National Registry of the American Physical Therapy Association.
- BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
- Physical Therapist (PT) license issued by the state of California.
- Prior experience in a hospital setting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One to three (1 – 3) years of experience as a licensed PT in a hospital setting.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $106,718 – $118,327 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $51.11 – $56.67
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
