Purpose:

  • Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Program Manager who will be a key support to the Logistics/Product Support team in Virginia Beach, VA. This position offers the possibility of a Hybrid work schedule.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the overall management and leadership of the Integrated Logistics / Product Support team on contract.
  • Manage and supervise the actions of technical staff by planning, directing all activities to ensure that all programmatic resources are efficiently utilized to expedite services.
  • Provide oversight of all contract activities. Control schedule, budget, and performance objectives across multiple task instructions.
  • Develop and assign all manpower resources to fulfill the contract requirements taking into consideration resources, materials, and the period of performance requirements.
  • Responsible for the timely completion of all contracts within budget allocations in accordance with the Plan of Action/Milestones (POA/M).
  • Responsible for all Project Managers and the staff members on each individual contract.
  • Primary point of contact for the Division Manager to provide program oversight and status information.
  • Receive and disseminate all contractual information to the appropriate personnel to support contract deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline from an accredited college or university and at least 24 years’ experience as outlined below:
    • Management of engineering/information technology projects involving support for maintenance, repair, testing, product improvement, or alteration of Naval Ship Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E), Electronic and Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment.
  • Must have at least 9 years’ of working experience in managing engineering/information technology projects involved in design, test, maintenance, operation, or support of Naval Ship Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E), Electronic and Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment.- within the 24 years of expereicne.
  • Must have at least 7 years’ working experience in engineering/information technology and logistic projects involving maintenance of Naval Ship Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E), Electronic and Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment.- within the 24 years of experience.
  • Must have experience with developing, modifying, and reviewing naval shipboard technical documentation is required.

Security Requirements:

  • Must have an Active DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel-up to 10%.
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Pay Range: $105,000 – $110,000 per year
