Department Description Department Purpose
The UC Davis Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) in partnership with the Associated Students, University of California, Davis (ASUCD) has established a number of new full-time staff positions that will be referred to as, ICA & ASUCD Fellowships. These positions will be available to recent UC Davis graduates who aspire to work within Intercollegiate Athletics and meet the qualifications as outlined in the following job description.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director, Engagement, this internship is designed to expose the individual to all aspects of athletic ticket operations through the fulfillment of single game and season ticket orders, serving as a front line customer service representative for UC Davis Athletics, providing game day support for ticketed sports/events, assisting with financial reconciliations including monitoring the ticket office clearing account, and working closely with Team Aggie to provide ticketing/ parking/event support as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work flexible schedule and occasional evenings/weekends
• Occasional holiday work and changes in schedule on short notice, to meet operational needs.
• Attendance at all home football games and men’s basketball games is required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience working in/competing for a collegiate athletics program.
• Attention to detail and strong writing/editing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• UC Davis graduate.
• Experience working in a customer service oriented position.
• Desire to pursue career in collegiate or professional sports related field.
• Must be team oriented, organized, and a strong communicator.

This position is a critical position and subject to a background check. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background investigation including criminal history and identity checks.
