As a Marketing & Investor Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing strategic marketing initiatives while supporting our investor relations activities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting and executive leadership, to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication across various channels.
This position is full time, located in our Henderson, NV corporate offices, and will report to the Director of Communications and Investor Relations.
Responsibilities
- Marketing Communications:
- Assist in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, print materials, social media, and events.
- Collaborate with MarCom to develop engaging content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and advertising materials.
- Assist in managing social media platforms, website content updates, email marketing campaigns, and other digital marketing activities.
- Track and analyze marketing campaign metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Assist in developing investor-focused materials, including brochures, presentations, and product information, that are up-to-date and readily available.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for marketing communication improvement.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure effective communication and alignment of marketing efforts.
- Assist with purchase requisitions and establish and maintain vendor contracts, clearly defining expectations, deliverables, timelines, and pricing.
- Conduct periodic vendor reviews to assess their performance and explore opportunities for improvement or renegotiation.
- Provide administrative support to the communications department.
- Investor Relations:
- Respond promptly and professionally to investor inquiries, requests for information, and shareholder concerns.
- Monitor and report on investor sentiment and feedback, providing consistent insights and recommendations to the Director of Investor Relations.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of the investor relations website, ensuring it remains up-to-date and user-friendly.
- Enter and update meeting and conference data in the investor relations CRM system promptly.
- Contribute to the quarterly newsletter to help engage and inform shareholders.
- Support the Director of IR in investor targeting by identifying and engaging investors.
- Assist the Director of IR in planning and organizing investor events, such as conferences, roadshows, and investor meetings. Coordinate logistics, manage invitations, and prepare necessary materials to ensure smooth and successful events.
- Stay abreast of relevant regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and emerging trends in investor relations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, communications, or a related field.
- Previous experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, SEC regulations, and investor relations best practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear and concise messages.
- PowerPoint pro; Proficient also in in otherMicrosoft Office Suite products .
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret financial data and industry trends.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with website content management systems and social media platforms is a plus.
- up to 30% travel is required both locally and nationally.
$55,000 – $65,000 a year
