Your role in our mission
- Review, research and update health insurance coverage, including billing of medical claims to health insurance companies when new coverage is discovered and later working the denials and payments that are returned.
- Premium Payments to Other Carriers and Reconciliation of any premium discrepancies Identify and resolve billing issues as they arise
- Maintain or update all existing expenditure and deposit spreadsheets for fiscal monitoring purposes
- Uses multiple applications to respond to phone calls and written inquiries from medical providers, HMOs, recipients, court and county clerks, attorneys, and third-party administrators on medical-related issues.
What we’re looking for
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow tasks/assignments through to completion with minimal supervision
- Problem Solving Skills
- One to two years’ experience in medical claims billing preferred.

The pay range for this position is $35,000- $50,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
