Sr. PM, Forums Engagement, Selling Partner Communities and Satisfaction

**This role can be based in Seattle (HQ1), Arlington (HQ2), Tempe, or San Diego**

The Selling Partner Communities and Satisfaction (SPCS) organization builds lasting connections with, and helps drive the success of our Selling Partners. We achieve this by: (1) Providing effective channels for multi-directional engagement with Amazon, (2) Fostering an active and helpful community and information exchange among Selling Partners; (3) Understanding Selling Partners’ perceptions of, and being internal advocates to improve, their experience selling on Amazon; (4) Ensuring that public perception mirrors the reality that Amazon’s stores are a great place for Selling Partners to build and maintain a thriving business; and (5) Accelerating and strengthening third-party advocacy and partnerships that benefit Selling Partners.

We are looking for a seasoned and inspirational Sr. Program Manager who can inspire and enhance the way that sellers engage across our products. We are looking for an engagement expert who will use the problems faced by sellers to create experiments that will improve their experiences with our community. This role will design, develop, and implement these experiences. This role will review the results with senior leadership and establish recommendations that will scale across the organization. The ideal candidate should have good decision-making skills and be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, with the capability of developing data-based insights into actionable workplans. They must also be able to effectively communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders, with competing priorities, in order to drive adoption and buy-in.

Key job responsibilities
• Design, build, and deploy experiments to improve Seller experience
• Conduct post-mortem reviews with leadership and scale learnings across organization
• Understand Seller perceptions and advocate for improved experiences
• Foster an active community environment among Selling Partners
• Establish new methods to improve seller engagement, while reducing negative seller sentiment
• Monitor community health metrics (e.g. retention, onboarding) and establish proactive strategies to drive success with these metrics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of program or project management experience

– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

– Experience with statistical methods, programs and analysis of metrics and behaviors to draw key business insights

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
