Navy SharePoint Administrator

Purpose:

  • Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Navy SharePoint Administrator who will be a key support to Commander Navy Regional Maintenance Command (CNRMC) maintaining and improving the customer SharePoint site utilizing Microsoft 365 tools, SharePoint Online One Drive, MS Teams, and Flankspeed.
  • Commander Navy Regional Maintenance Command (CNRMC) oversees the operations and management of the Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs) in the execution of private sector depot level repair and modernization, technical and engineering assistance, I-Level production and training, contract management services and readiness assessments on naval vessels. CNRMC also leads the RMCs in developing and executing standardized maintenance processes and common policy to sustain a consistent business model across the RMCs and ultimately provide cost-effective readiness solutions to the warfighter.

Job Description:

  • Maintain the SharePoint Website to include designs, and tests of business solutions utilizing the Microsoft development tools in the government Environment, maintaining files and resources, and records management.
  • Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing among knowledge sharing groups.
  • Identify areas and processes where software tooling can better leverage and facilitate process improvement.
  • Design, develop, configure, and deploy business solutions that include document management, automated workflow, collaboration, messaging, content management, and dashboards.
  • Provide analysis of new technologies and looks for ways to enhance the IT infrastructure, as well as provides training to users on the functionality of web tools.
  • Proficient with planning and development of enterprise business solutions considering stakeholder needs, current in-place architectures & tools, and data sources.
  • Maintain metrics, business plans and other documentation to include archiving.
  • Support the leadership and stakeholders in updating and maintaining site documents, including but not limited to:
    • Annual Plan (AP), Process Management Plan (PMP), Continuum, Annual Reports, Handbooks, meeting minutes for teleconferences and face-to-face meetings, other administrative actions, Collect, update, monitor, and analyze assigned metrics data.
    • Provide in-person administrative and technical support to leadership/customer/team (take minutes at all functions and teleconferences) and assist in planning and facilitation of all customer events as required to include reviews or any other capture meetings.
    • Generate formal reports after each event in accordance with program (format and timing).
    • Works closely with stakeholders to elicit and define website content requirements and translate business processes into meaningful business intelligence dashboards and other SharePoint management capabilities, develop meaningful metrics, and monitor activities to produce trend analyses.
    • Able to collect analytical data of the SharePoint Site Collection (trends, usage, storage, etc.

  • Responsible for estimating work content and achieving planned timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, CS or related field with at least 7 years applicable experience OR Associates Degree and at least 10 years equivalent experience with same associate degree (Applicable experience in lieu of degree can be considered).
  • Must have at least 7 years of experience as a SharePoint Site Owner and/or Site Collection Administrator.
  • Must have at least 7 year of experience with Microsoft (Office) 365 development utilizing PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI, MS Teams, and SharePoint Online.
  • Must have at least 7 years of business systems analysis and support experience with DOD Navy, NAVSEA or other federal government group utilizing the same tools/environment.
  • Must have experience working with collaborative IT/business Developing business applications: Power Platform, SPO, Flankspeed and MS Teams.
  • Must have HTML/JAVASCRIPT/XML experience to modify, correct and enhance capabilities.
  • Must have experience with MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Must have presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences including the ability to facilitate large group meetings in conference settings.
  • Must have strong business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help increase business value and performance.
  • Must have strong analytical problem-solving, and conceptual skills and strong verbal and written communication.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prefer NAVSEA SharePoint and Power Platform certifications.
  • Prior Naval Military experience preferred.
  • Prior DoD or Navy specific experience; understanding of current deployments of M365 in DoD environments (e.g., Flank Speed) is a plus.

Security Requirements:

  • Must have an Active DoD Security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.
  • This role requires a US Citizenship.
  • Must have a current CAC.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional Travel-10% travel required.
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.
