Excellent opportunity to shine at Havana Central as the Executive Kitchen Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen staff, food preparation, supplies, scheduling, monitoring inventory levels budgets, food cost, and profitability.
Culinary and Management experience is a must. Outstanding organizational skills, communication skills, and strong leadership abilities are necessary. Must understand the importance of cost controls.

Responsibilities:
• Interview, hire, evaluate, train/develop, schedule, and manage kitchen staff.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking process.
• Expedite tickets in a timely manner, ensuring plate presentation is of the highest quality.
• Monitor inventory levels, and order supplies.
• Control food cost by establishing purchasing specifications, storeroom requisition systems, product storage requirements, standardization recipes, portion and waste control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Establish maintenance schedules and provides safety training in hazardous materials/chemical control and sanitation practices.
Requirements:
• Certification from culinary school or degree in Restaurant Management is desirable.
Experience:
• A minimum of five years as a Restaurant Manager, Kitchen Manager, or Sous Chef.
