Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Construction Office Engineer/Construction Manager 1, we’ll count on you to:
- Technically evaluate and review submittals and RFIs against the contract drawings and specifications to verify compliance, track and process submittals and RFIs as defined in the contract by routing to the appropriate Reviewers, and verify that clear and understandable responses are returned to the Contractor.
- Review and process multiple submittals and RFIs simultaneously.
- Use a workflow database proficiently (Unifier, Prolog, etc.) to process submittals and RFIs, as well as organize and label submittals and RFIs in project files.
- Maintain redline drawings on a weekly basis with submittal and RFI response updates. Maintain the RFI log for redline drawing updates.
- Maintain drawing revision log and electronic file, and prepare/distribute revised drawings to the Construction Management Team.
- Prepare weekly updates of relevant submittals and RFIs for the Inspection Team based on the Contractor’s weekly workplan
- Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Construction Science or closely related field
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including but not limited to estimating, bidding, preparing and administering purchase orders and subcontracts, scheduling, cost control, etc
- Experience with construction management software packages and Microsoft Office, Prolog, Primavera, etc
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

- Construction or design certifications
- Ability to interpret construction schedules

The expected compensation range for this position is $95,823.00 – $136,890.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
