Job Description & Requirements
The Nurse provides basic first aid care and life support according to state, county and company guidelines. Complete documentation accurately for all incidents. Perform inspections for facilities and equipment. Participates in training of other Team Members.
Responsibilities
- Responds to emergent and non-emergent situations in conjunction with internal and external resources at Universal Studios Hollywood.
- Ensures scene safety during emergency responses.
- Communicates safety concerns to the appropriate party to ensure follow- up.
- Works to ensure an organized, accident-free and clean environment for self and others.
- Assess patient condition and determines a proper course of treatment and follow up.
- Adheres to company and department policies and procedures for the treatment
- and documentation of work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Strictly adheres to and actively promotes all Health Services Policies and Procedures while performing duties.
- Accurately completes appropriate paperwork for each guest’s and/or Team Member’s treatment.
- Performs and documents required inspections of facilities, equipment, and assets when instructed.
- Participates and assists in staff meetings, in-service programs and development activities as required and/or requested.
- Champion and provide extraordinary Guest Service to both Team Members and guests.
- Act as a liaison for USH to other external agencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Department Specific Requirements
- Currently Licensed in the State of California as Registered Nurse.
- Current Basic Life Support certification required.
- Minimum of 1-year experience providing emergency medical care.
- Ability to write correspondences, including Patient Care Reports.
- Use of several different electronic databases for recordkeeping.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work a variety of work hours including holidays, weekends and evenings.
The pay rate for this role is $35.68
