The role you’ll contribute:
The Communication Specialist prepares and develops written content and materials to support and enhance the organization’s brand and operations.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Develops and writes hospital, physician, and organizational communications
- Maintains and monitors various communications channels.
- Populates hospital and regional Intranet content.
- Oversees communication for physicians and supports regional hospitals.
- Provides ideas and input to assist in the development of communications plans and strategies.
- Researches and develops content for publication.
- Prepares collateral that align with the specific communication plan.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or communications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in communications, marketing, or media/public relations
- Professional writing portfolio required (newsletters, articles, press releases, social media content, pitches, etc.)
- Ability to write audience specific content (team members, physicians, community) and technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations.
- Effectively present information and respond to inquiries from staff, managers, volunteers and the community
