Job Description
Performs a variety of skilled and unskilled tasks in the custodian care and maintenance of the Bob Gilmore Senior Center.
Essential Duties
Moves assorted tables, chairs and special equipment for special events.
Sweeps, vacuums, mops, dusts, polishes and buff floors, dusts furniture.
Empties trash and garbage cans and relines cans with liners.
Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and replenishes supplies, cleans spills, drinking fountains.
Performs minor semi-skilled interior building maintenance and repairs such as painting, floor covering, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, and other unskilled and semi-skilled trade work.
Inspects and maintains assigned custodial equipment and small tools for proper operating condition.
Unload and stock deliveries of donated items.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or equivalent.
No previous experience is required.

No special certifications or licenses are required.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Floor buffers, vacuum, mops, broom, dusting equipment. Safety equipment as required.
