We are looking for an experienced product marketing leader to join the Amazon Redshift Product Marketing team in the Analytics services category. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create messaging and content, engage both the builder and the buyer persona to evangelize the product and drive engagement and adoption, pilot and build new marketing programs to deliver on growth targets for the business. Working closely with product management and Go-To-Market teams, you will own the marketing strategy and execute on that strategy to promote Amazon Redshift and the AWS analytics business.
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Amazon Redshift, you will have the opportunity to take the lead on establishing the messaging and positioning strategy for the product to enterprise audiences that are both builders and buyers. You will be responsible for translating product roadmap, features, and use cases into audience specific benefits messaging and compelling content. You will build key programs and campaigns, partnering with your stakeholders to increase awareness, adoption, and demand for the analytics category and product. You will get to work on a growing, high profile business and have a strategic impact on our business planning and growth strategy that will impact millions of data practitioners worldwide. Ideally, you are someone that has experience building programs and messaging for both practitioner and enterprise buyer audiences. You have an innate understanding of how the cloud business model works, current state of the art technologies, and what motivates different audiences in this industry. data analysts, engineers, data scientists, and developers leverage data for their jobs and how they make decisions. If you are a passionate, and flexible product marketer who has experienced the ability of this role or function to bring about strategic change in an organization and business and is creative, agile, and analytical about piloting and expanding new marketing initiatives, then this role is for you.
This position will need to sit in Seattle WA, with flexibility to consider also locating in an Amazon/AWS corporate office in San Francisco Bay Area, CA (SFO, Palo Alto or San Jose), or Austin, TX Amazon/AWS U.S. Corp office only. Relocation offered from within the US only to these locations.
Key job responsibilities
Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences
Craft and develop compelling audience and initiative specific messages and tools (product videos, collateral specific to different audiences or campaigns, demos, presentations, how to guides, etc.)
Develop market and competitive intelligence expertise that can inform messaging
Identifying and nurturing strategic partnerships with influencers and partners and breakthrough marketing approaches to expand Amazon Redshift’s reach and adoption
Work with Developer Experience, Product, GTM, Solution Architect teams, Partners, and Industry teams to translate key Redshift features, benefits, and value propositions to enterprise data practitioners and decision maker audiences
Driving marketing campaigns across all relevant digital channels, including social engagement, search, email marketing, paid ads, and events/hackathons, to increase awareness and adoption of Amazon Redshift
Communicate customer requirements and provide input to product management on product enhancements and future product direction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
– Experience communicating results to senior leadership
– Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals
– Good understanding of cloud computing, software, data science, machine learning concepts and experience creating content for and marketing to key personas in the cloud data and analytics domain.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
