What will you do?
Plans, direct, coordinate the program analysis & application in the division of Policy and Strategic Direction in the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) & in collaboration with other DODD divisions, state agencies, & stakeholders; will manage the analysis and disseminate data for the agency and assists with national and statewide survey administration. Performs advanced analyses &reporting using SQL, SAS, Tableau & other reporting tools; creates data briefs using DODD’s data warehouse, National Core Indicators, Medicaid & other data sources. Creates and shares advanced reports in the cloud data warehouse in Snowflake; performs statistical analyses, & monitor data integrity; performs ad hoc reporting to respond to data requests, generate reports and recommendations, explain &/ interpret results for a broad array of stakeholders; test data warehouse subject areas and data that has been added to the data warehouse; provide data to communications for infographic creation & present analyses for use in policy development.
Represents department in various program development meetings & committees, work with DODD, other state agencies, county board staff, providers & other stakeholders to provide technical expertise related to data and analysis. Provides training webinars & face-to-face training, schedule & lead meetings & workshops; serve on committees (i.e., Strategic Analytics & Data Integrity); work on special projects, prepare proposals & recommendations based on findings; develop related policies & procedures, directs internal &/or external work teams.
Advises management staff regarding various issues & problems; performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance AND 12 mos. exp. in the delivery of a health services program or health services project management (e.g., health care data analysis, health services contract management, health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development, HMO & hospital rate development, health services eligibility, health services data base analysis).
Or 12 months experience has Medicaid Health Systems Specialist, 65293, may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated licensure, if required.

-If position oversees assessment or reassessment of clinical appropriateness of services &/or payment policies &/or related issues in regards to Medicaid health services delivery, incumbent must also have current & valid license as registered nurse as issued by Ohio Board of Nursing, pursuant to Sections 4723.03-4723.09 of Ohio Revised Code
