JOB DETAILS
Base Pay: $16.00 per hour
Shift: 8 AM to 4:30 PM
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As Inventory Material Handler, you will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts. You will also be responsible for moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or worksite. You will adhere to EHS standards and regulations while working independently or as a team member, with or without direct supervision. You must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events. You must also be self-motivated and able to work independently or within teams. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Perform cycle counts of raw material inventory on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or with forklift
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, or other containers
- Lifts heavy objects by hand or with forklift/power hoist and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators
- Operates industrial truck or electric hoist in loading or moving materials and products
Qualifications
- Successful completion of OSHA mandated fork truck training is required
- Candidate should have good basic math skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet applications is required
- Knowledge Oracle is desirable
