Editor, Creative-AV, WWTV Marketing

Summary of Position

Lionsgate’s Worldwide TV Marketing team is seeking an Editor, Creative-A/V. This role requires an individual with a keen cinematic sensibility. You have a passion for creating great trailers and compilation sizzles as well as great TV/Digital/Social spots and have a proven track record of award-winning creative in the television, theatrical, or home entertainment industries. You have experience working with a team of creatives (writers, designers, editors, talent) and marketing executives to deliver strategically crafted, and industry leading creative materials.

Responsibilities

  • Editing and management of the A/V creative for a wide variety of television and film genres and compilation promos
  • Collaborate with the entire Promos Team, Marketing, Social, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure all assets are developed and executed to meet the given strategy and deadlines
  • Provide constructive feedback on any project within the team that may need creative development support
  • Manage project logistics including schedules and deadlines from beginning of creative to finishing and delivery

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5 – 7 years of editing creative A/V for an entertainment-based agency or film studio
  • Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Avid Media Composer software experience
  • Motion Graphics Experience (After Effects) a plus
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of AV specs for broadcast, in-theater and digital platforms
  • Ability to thrive and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with multiple daily deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of the post-production process
  • Great creative instincts, good taste and creative judgement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great organizational skills
  • Enjoy working as a part of a team

Compensation

$85,000 – $90,000
