Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive data strategy to meet the application’s requirements, ensuring alignment with the application’s objectives and priorities
- Design, develop, and maintain data models to support data warehouse and data analytics solutions, incorporating industry best practices and standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define data models, and establish data management processes that enable effective decision-making and analytics
- Develop data model structures for the data visualization platforms that allow for standardized reporting, tracking of the recruiting processes, and more rigorous or strategic-level analysis use cases
- Understand customer needs, services and core missions and match them with best-in-class technology and processes
- Define prioritization and sequencing of the applications migration and integration
- Lead and participate in key discussions around program changes from both business and technical requirements perspectives
- Support and advise on all application-related technical activities across the contract, mentor technical staff, and work with senior technical leaders on driving continuous improvement and innovation into overall operations
- Collaborate with Government leadership and industry partners to help identify and drive innovative solutions resulting in overall improved performance and cost reductions
- Define processes for testing and evaluating data structure, data ingest, and data access to ensure data integrity, quality, and performance
- Perform data modeling and database normalization/denormalization
- Oversee and design data migration activities in Postgres databases
- Leverage Atlassian tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence to track development activities, control source code, and author documentation
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience with programming and database scripting for large and complex information systems
- Experience orchestrating large scale data migrations
- 5 years of experience engineering enterprise database solutions
- 3 years of experience with database replication in a production environment
- 2 years of experience with database security solutions to include encryption and key management.
- Active Top Secret clearance

Target Salary Range
$146,000 – $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
