Key Accountabilities
Designing, enhancing and configuring Maximo applications utilizing a Scaled Agile methodology and Maximo configuration tools to meet specific business needs including modifying Maximo screens, escalations, security, database configuration, start centers, and queries; Customizing, configuring, testing, and deploying IBM Maximo application through all phases of the implementation life cycle; Programing in Java and scripting languages to tailor IBM Maximo applications to client requirements; Deploying solutions/applications using various technologies, including Java, XM, XLST, SQL, Web Logic, WebSphere, and SQL Server and Oracle databases; Performing system analysis and testing to ensure successful and seamless communication among the various system users and applications components; Providing technical input and guidance in a client facing environment; Assisting with changes to the production environment and the setting of new standards using change control, documentation, and full communication with the operations and support.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or foreign equivalent and 60 months of experience in Software Development or related IT Positions. At least 60 months of experience in each of the following skills: (1) Maximo System; (2) J2EE Developing; (3) Java Programming; (4) XML Language; and (5) DB2 Database. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. is required.
