The Amazon Fresh Private Brands team is looking for an entrepreneurial, experienced, and organized Product Manager. You will join a high-powered, fun and collaborative work environment on the private brands team where you will help build and scale our business within both physical stores and online channels. This position will focus on developing and managing the project timelines from new product concept to production manufacturing and scale up, through to the launch of the product. You will work directly with suppliers and internal cross functional stakeholders to create and manage project timelines to successful execution of launch.
To succeed in role, you must be obsessed with launching products on time and driving process improvements throughout the organization. You’ll also need to be comfortable with building strategy from ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, and be self-motivated to learn new categories quickly. This role requires expertise in project management of consumer-packaged goods development and manufacturing. The individual must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills, proven effectiveness in leading cross functional teams, strong customer obsession, and a track record of operating in a dynamic environment. They will also possess a proven ability to lead, influence and steer diverse cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, and be motivated by a fast-paced start up environment.
Key job responsibilities
– Holds team members accountable for their owned tasks within the product launch workflow
– Creating, maintaining and monitoring Program and Project management processes to ensure excellence in execution
– Driving project schedules including working through roadblocks to deliver new products on time
– Managing continuous improvement projects to shorten project cycle times and improve launch outcomes
– Collaborating with members of the Amazon Fresh Private Brands team including Product Development, Product Management, Marketing, and others to lead launches for new product lines.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of product management experience
– Experience managing technical products or online services
– Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
– Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $93,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
