PEO Workers Compensation Medical Claims Coordinator

Overview

This is a hybrid office position – hours 8- 5.

As the PEO Workers’ Compensation Medical Coordinator, you will develop effective strategies, action plans and execution for multijurisdictional workers’ compensation medical only claims. This is an excellent career opportunity for a candidate with insurance, PEO and /or medical background and with administrative experience. Responsibilities

  • Review all PEO Program FNOIs for accuracy and complete verification process.
  • Responsible for identifying claims that may cause increase exposure beyond medical only; as well as those that require Manager notification and possible lost time transfer request
  • Ensure timely contacts
  • Responsible for reviewing medical notes and confirming resolution prior to closure.
  • Functions as client/carrier liaison and advocate on claims service issues.
  • Responsible for reviewing and confirming no lost of wages due to the workers compensation claim
  • Responsible for preparing claim for transfer to internal Claims Examiner – documenting rational for escalation to lost time.
  • Review adjuster notepad for appropriate progress
  • Maintain timely correspondences to phone calls & emails
  • Adhere to the Claims Department Procedures, as outline in manual
  • Dept administrative duties & Department support

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma – Required
  • in
  • 1 year of experience in Related field.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedure.
  • PEO experience.
  • ClientSpace CRM.
  • Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrates time management and priority setting skills.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $38,570.00 – $71,630.00 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
