Job Overview
This position works closely with the Market Development Team to refine & consolidate an extensive Market Development / Contractor Database. Initial task would be to organize and condense a series of Excel spreadsheets into a list of known GHX (Geothermal Heat Exchanger) Contractors located across the US & Canada. Working with and reporting to the GHX Consultant, the ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong writing, computer, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Our current GHX database contains ~ 20,000 contacts from a variety of sources in random formats. The goal of this position is to combine & condense this data into an established Excel spreadsheet format.
- To identify companies & individuals currently engaged in the geothermal industry, and to define the, who, what, where & how these companies and individuals are installing geothermal loops.
- To identify companies & individuals who would be interested in learning more about or supporting the geothermal industry.
- Support the Market Development Team initiatives by executing various research, reporting and administrative assignments
- Training will be provided.

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with multiple stakeholders both within & outside of the organization
- Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability
- This position will require extensive online research and phone calls to known & potential geothermal companies
- Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
