ABOUT THE POSITION
This position exists to advance Normandale’s brand, build stakeholder engagement and loyalty, and achieve strategic and short-term goals for Advancement, Student Affairs, Human Resources, and the College as a whole by demonstrating and harnessing the power of visual storytelling on the college website, expanding and implementing its strategic approach to social media, and maximizing the impact of its owned media and paid enrollment advertising campaigns.
Required Qualifications
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, photography, visual/fine art, graphic design, or related field; or an equivalent combination of post-secondary training, education, and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge, skills, and abilities in visual storytelling across a variety of digital media.
• Three years’ experience creating and publishing digital content to achieve strategic branding and business objectives in agency, corporate, nonprofit, and/or public sector settings.
• Advanced knowledge of social media platforms and tools, passion for following social media trends and evolving best practices, and ability to apply this knowledge and passion to meet branding and business objectives.
• Experience measuring social media impact, assessing return on investment in social media, using data to guide strategy, and communicating ROI to colleagues and leadership.
• Experience in photography and video production and editing.
• Competence in the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office 365.
Other KSA’s interviewing for:
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including copy editing and proofreading.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Creativity, entrepreneurialism, and resourcefulness.
