This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketer to drive awareness and lead generation for Cognizant Life Sciences solutions. This US-based full-time role reports to the Head of Life Sciences Marketing.
The Life Sciences Marketing Manager will work closely with Life Sciences leadership, product, sales and cross-marketing functions to develop and execute targeted, integrated marketing programs that move prospects through awareness, engagement and decision in support of business sales growth. He/She will serve as the primary connector between Life Sciences sales and marketing and will drive sales enablement programs.
The successful candidate has strong communication and project management skills, with proven success managing content-driven, multichannel campaigns. The candidate should have traditional and digital marketing skills and experience working with subject matter experts to build messaging content from conception to promotion.
Responsibilities Include
The duties and responsibilities of the Life Sciences Field Marketing Manager include:
- Support for annual strategic marketing planning
- Development and execution of, and reporting on, marketing programs and campaigns
- Content and messaging development, including thought leadership and solution-specific content (solution brochures, white papers/research, blogs, videos, web and social media content, etc.)
- Account-based marketing
- Management of client events and tradeshows
- Product positioning and messaging
- Development of sales enablement and collateral materials
- Sales team engagement
Required Experience, Expertise & Education
• 5+ years of experience, with experience in Healthcare or Life Sciences preferred
• Demonstrated digital and social marketing experience
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail
• Able to work independently with little direct supervision
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative
• Willing to roll up your sleeves and execute
• Fluency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Pardot
• Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, Communications, Marketing, Business or equivalent experience
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 – $115,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
