ABOUT THE ROLE:

A Solution Architect for our Salesforce Emerging Services Practice is a strategic position to our customers. This role is heavily involved in solution design and is hands-on with build work on Marketing Cloud Personalization (formerly Interaction Studio). Solution Architects are experienced consultants and are depended on by our customers for technical vision and proactive and strategic advice.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work as part of an overall delivery team to deliver a legendary customer experience on Salesforce solutions
  • Fully own the technical architecture, design, and implementation of Marketing Cloud Personalization (Interaction Studio).
  • Be comfortable learning new technologies with different levels of support / enablement.
  • Lead consultative engagements with customers on business goals and challenges.
  • Architect a detailed solution tailored to customers’ goals, taking into account their current and future-state environment.
  • Effectively communicate and present the design, positive impacts, and limitations of proposed solutions to customers.
  • Approach each customer as unique, ensuring that their environment, skill set, internal processes, and business structure are accounted for in overall designs.
  • Build and fully test the solutions as designed, working with customers to iterate through modifications and revisions.
  • Document design and/or maintenance processes as necessary.
  • Provide in-depth training as appropriate to ensure customers are self-sustaining.
  • Collaborate with other team members to validate solutions, solve technical challenges, and share knowledge.
  • Average of 10% travel, up to 25%, to client locations throughout the U.S.
  • Perform other duties required and assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 3+ years implementing software solutions for external customers
  • 1 or more years working on or with marketing teams
  • Experience going deep into clients’ current processes to fully understand the nature of their business, while identifying how and w hy their business goals are critical.
  • Demonstrated track record in learning new technologies quickly
  • Previous role that involved working with relational data models and data integrations into multiple systems
  • Experience or significant exposure to be able t o understand HTML, CSS and Javascript.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Personalization, aka Interaction Studio or Evergage prior to acquisition
  • Experience working as part of or with web development teams.
  • Experience with web personalization tools
  • Experience working with enterprise-level customers representing multiple brands and/or regions.
  • Experience designing and delivering a training program tailored to clients’ needs. Training should be appropriate for individuals at varying levels within a client’s organization and with varying degrees of technical abilities.
  • Comfort with engagements of almost any size
  • Experience working on or with digital marketing teams

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $73,990 – $140,760 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
