JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $26.00 per hour
1st Shift: 6:45 am – 3:15 pm (Monday – Friday)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Practice and enforce safety according to standards
- Use problem solving tools and collaborate with team members to eliminate safety issues
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate Unit activities to fulfill assembly orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver quality manufactured products
- Emphasis in developing labor cost reduction system as well as maximizing efficiency
- Review and monitor current shop inventory levels
- Identify inventory variances to target and root causes
- Communicate daily activities pertaining to the inventory operations
- Assist Scheduling with resolving system generated constraints in inventory
- Coordinate loading and offloading materials onto or from trucks, pallets, racks, by hand or with forklift, including vinyl racks on the vinyl line
- Ensure outbound materials travel safe, strapping, bracing, or padding them to prevent shifting or damage in transit
- Organize Extrusion floor materials from trucks/storage or shop to designated area
- Responsible of counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, or Extrusion containers
- Operates industrial truck or electric hoist in loading or moving materials and products
- Perform physical inventories as required
- Accountability safety, warehouse inventory and employee morale
Qualifications
- Requires a High School Diploma
- 1 year of Lead experience working within warehouse operations preferred, or equivalent supply chain, production leadership, and/or inventory management experience
- Requires ability to identify problems, collect data, offer solutions, and implement continuous improvement to achieve the desired results
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or databases
- Must have demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, analytical, and conceptual skills
- Demonstrated understanding of operations that support manufacturing within this position’s scope
- Bilingual in Spanish, Creole, Hindi or Gujarati is a plus, but not required
