Our client is looking for a Senior Manager, Certification Operations to join their Certification team. We are looking for a strategic dynamic individual who has professional experience working in Certification Operations Management and supervising others.

Location: Rosemont, IL

Schedule: Hybrid schedule – candidate needs to be local to Chicago.

Pay: $90-110k, contract to hire

Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday

Industry: Non-profit/ Association

Responsibilities:

-Oversee the timely response to candidate worldwide testing inquiries;

-Directly supervise staff members. Carry out supervisory responsibilities including: interviewing, hiring, and training staff; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; coaching; rewarding and disciplining staff; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.

-Serve as secondary management escalation point for any operational issues in the department;

-Monitor and provide accurate reporting on the program status throughout its life cycle for all products within the certification portfolio;

-Understand, track and analyze certification program data: using quantitative, qualitative and analytical skills to create/generate data reports, program update reports and provide recommendations for new ideas and enhancements to support certification and revenue growth;

-Report monthly financial reconciliation of certification orders in database to ensure more accurate monthly and yearend financial reporting and improved forecasting and budget monitoring processes;

Oversee the certification purchasing system, allowing clients to successfully purchase APICS Certification products directly through our web service, E-commerce system and monitor the exam scheduling and delivery process;

-Assist in managing projects for Certification initiatives, interact with project management database system (JIRA), and ensure all department projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;

-Assist, create and/or maintain comprehensive project documentation; develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress; and perform risk management to minimize project risks, as needed;

-Oversee and monitor certification customer experience and determine the most effective manner to resolve customer issues;

-Resolve vendor issues, troubleshoot problems associated with vendor services and communicate issues and concerns;
