Our Eastside client is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager /Assistant Director. Candidate must be experienced in technical accounting and research, with minimum of 5+ years of experience, CPA required, and excellent communication skills. Role consists of ad hoc projects, SEC filings, and policy responsibilities.
- Perform technical GAAP / SEC research and prepare position papers
- Lead the adoption of new accounting pronouncements
- Coordinate and conduct policy training
- Assist with preparation and quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K filings
- Ability to work with executive level
- Various projects and special analysis as assigned
Education/Skills
- BS / BA in Accounting required, MBA / MS preferred
- CPA license required
- Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience
- Strong working knowledge of SEC rules and regulations required
- Big 4 public accounting experience highly preferred
- Excellent analytical and technical accounting skills
- Strong PC skills / SAP experience desired
