Job Description
Performs the daily terminal cleaning and sanitation of the department.
Job Responsibility
Performs all cleaning functions following established procedures in a timely fashion.
Maintains tools and equipment in good condition, uses supplies economically.
Uses proper cleaning supplies for each job, using appropriate personal protective equipment.
Collects garbage, cleans and re-lines trash receptacles with plastic liners.
Transports garbage to designated area and disposes of waste.
Adheres to state and county regulations for proper disposal of infectious and hazardous waste.
Maintains department’s cleaning and sanitation quality control records.
Stores and maintains related tools, equipment, and chemicals in department.
Sweeps mops and maintains departmental floors including the cafeteria floor.
Receives detailed direction and guidance on work.
Work and tasks are most often routine, structured and transactional in nature, may require physical labor; work requires minimal variance from guidelines and procedures.
Elevates questions, problems and significant challenges to more senior team members for direction or subject matter expertise.

Job Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
0-1 years of relevant experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $22.56-$23.69/hour
