Location: Remote (Open to most locations in North America and Canada)

As a Product Manager on The Sims, you will be working with a large but tight-knit team of enthusiastic industry craftspeople from all walks of life. You will synthesize insights from market trends, UX research, and player telemetry to develop learnings and identify product opportunities. You will then partner with the design, production, and marketing teams to shape these learnings into product solutions that meet and exceed objectives.

Responsibilities

Research trends in our game regarding player behavior, ask thought-provoking questions, and identify opportunities to level up our own products and influence the product roadmap

Manage and grow other Product Managers to be strong contributors to the Sims product

Ensure that the game systems are built and optimized for acquisition, depth of monetization and sustained engagement.

Collaborate with business partners to set objectives and key results, partnering with producers and analysts to lead the experimentation roadmap and validation of the critical business questions.

Be the genre expert – build a deep understanding within the game team about competing titles, best in class mechanics and important product trends.

Develop and test hypotheses to improve all game KPIs. Turn data into insights and make recommendations for the game team to improve our games.

Work closely with the game design and analytics team to define and implement telemetry/tracking events, reporting and data visualization tools.

Report to Director of Product Management, laddering up to the Executive Producer for The Sims 4

Required Qualifications

Ownership: Previously launched a product or feature from ideation to execution

Experience with data-driven decision-making processes.

Experience working with SQL.

Understanding of business modelling.

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline.

8+ years of experience in a Product Management Role.

Passion for games, especially Life Simulation games.

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

° $171,100 – $233,500
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):

° $136,000 – $190,850
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):

° $136,000 – $218,900

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
