Position Overview

Seeking an individual as a business analyst for the website modernization project, responsible for supporting the review and analysis of the DHS Divisions’ outward facing web presence. Individual will provide consultation on and performs business analysis activities. Analyze DHS Divisions’ missions, goals and services to provide guidance on the how to upgrade DHS web pages. Prepare and maintain documentation of functions and services that drive the development of web pages. Manage and facilitate analysis processes and documentation. Additionally, will facilitate meetings.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Document current DHS Divisions’ outward facing web presence.
  2. Work with internal and external stakeholders to assess the current web pages and develop strategies for modernizing the website.
  3. Facilitate decision-making across DHS Divisions to identify changes needed to the existing web pages, those that need to be eliminated, replaced and/or combined to provide a better user experience.
  4. Working with DHS Divisions Subject Matter Experts, Stakeholders and contractual web content developers, design, develop and deploy new web pages.
  5. Develop implementation and support plans.
  6. Assist in the deployment of new web pages.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Four (4) years of college with a degree.
  2. Five (5) years web based business analysts and/or project management experience.
  3. Experience in business analyses of websites and the development documentation of business requirements for websites.
  4. Experience facilitating meetings and synthesizing discussions and next steps.
  5. Experience with project management software and applications.
