Title: Provider Network Services Coordinator

Starting Salary: $51,163

Job Summary: The Provider Network Services Coordinator implements and oversees administrative procedures related to OCHN’s agreements with its network of service providers. The Provider Network Services Coordinator works collaboratively with other members of the OCHN Provider Network Team, other OCHN teams, and the provider network to ensure appropriate adherence to administrative procedures. This activity supports the effective implementation of OCHN’s strategic vision and plan with the respective service network, including initiatives and projects that advance the involvement of individuals served, quality outcomes, performance improvement, cost analysis, and contract compliance.

Essential Functions:

  • Implement and oversee administrative procedures for Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) contracted providers in accessing services and supports for individuals served.
  • Act as primary liaison between OCHN contract providers to support adherence to administrative procedures and to resolve barriers to individuals served in accessing services.
  • Coordination with OCHN contracted providers to oversee the availability of services and supports within the OCHN network.
  • Navigate the ODIN system to access data, update information and perform functions related to managing the provider network.
  • Work collaboratively with OCHN’s Utilization Management and Review team to ensure referrals for services and supports are appropriate and medically necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments within OCHN (e.g., Office of Recipient Rights) to review data to identify and address trends related to services and supports.
  • Be able to navigate a complex service system.
  • Create a welcoming environment that demonstrates empathy and non-judgment.
  • Understanding of OCHN provider network and how to access additional community services.
  • Understanding of admission and discharge criteria for services and supports.
  • Implement provider network training regarding procedures for coordinating services and supports.
  • Participate in workgroups and committees as assigned.
  • Additional duties, as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline required.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in human services administration, contract management, or related area, preferably in the public sector.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Knowledge of public mental health service delivery systems in Oakland County.

  • Knowledge of OCHN provider network.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and other relevant software programs.

  • Demonstrated high level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of relatively complex assignments accurately and timely.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills needed to establish and follow office procedures and maintain files and records.
  • Understanding of Michigan Mental Health Code and recipient rights policies.

Special Information:

  • Must have available means of transportation to and from OCHN and for required offsite meetings or site visits.
  • Must be available for meetings and events which may occur outside of standard office hours.

  • Hybrid (onsite/remote) work schedule available.
