JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Sports is seeking a Director, Graphic Technology & Support to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The Director will report to the Executive Director, Graphic Technology and Innovation, and will oversee the technical arm of the Creative Services team. This involvement ranges from hardware and software implementation in concert with FOX Engineering to managerial oversight over technical managers.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a team of Viz graphics platform technical managers
- Schedule and coordinate in-studio and remote support for all relevant projects
- Work with artists/technicians to ensure smooth deployment of Viz, Ventuz, and Unreal Engine projects across FOX Sports
- Maintain and supervise all equipment for remote broadcasts that may require the shipping of graphics machines, including system set-up, troubleshooting, and tracking
- Travel to select remote broadcasts to ensure the set-up and maintenance of all graphic systems
- Work with designers and producers to assist in achieving desired results via systems
- Work with SVP, Graphic Technology and Innovation on aspirational and long-range projects involving systems
- Work closely with FOX Engineering for hardware and software implementation and updates
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 5+ years of experience within a broadcast and/or production environment
- 5+ years of experience and strong technical acumen with the following systems (VIZ, Ventuz, Unreal)
- Ability to work on strict timelines in an organized manner
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Be a team player with the ability to communicate with other groups within the department

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $153,000.00-173,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
