Job Summary
Under the direction of the Communications & Community Relations Director, the Digital Media Designer is responsible for assisting the Creative Team in creating and revising presentations, fillable forms, Adobe art files, and more that meet Branding guidelines and creative criteria. This position also is responsible for the Company’s social media accounts. The Digital Media Designer also assists in maintaining the Company’s intranet by creating new user accounts, posting and deleting content, and assisting other employees with their postings. Ensures the graphics are consistent with CenCal Health’s Brand and style guidelines, and they enhance the content and messaging.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, create, gain approval, and post all content for the Company’s Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts. Maintains a rolling 12-month calendar of suggested content and coordinates with other departments on their content responsibilities. Looks for opportunities to amplify community partners’ content by re-posting. Monitors comments. Maintains standard operating procedures document.
- Assist the Creative Lead position with tasks such as:
- Creating & updating PowerPoint presentations
- Creating forms and making them fillable
- Assisting with creating animation videos
- Updating existing art files as revisions or corrections become necessary.
- Creating business cards
- Format letters onto Company letterhead
- Assist Web/Intranet lead with tasks such as:
– Posting news and other content
– Creating new intranet user accounts with photos
– Deleting old content
– Assisting with training employees on how to post. - Create and maintain CenCal Health-owned digital libraries of graphics and photos.
- Create/submit reporting as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Required:
- Intermediate competence with Mac hardware and software
- Intermediate competence in social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook)
- Introductory experience in using Adobe Creative suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
- Introductory experience in Microsoft suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Experience using Outlook email, calendars, and Microsoft Teams
- Good at organizing and staying organized.
- Self-starter.
- Consistent, pro-active communicator on project status, questions, etc.
- Absorbs new information easily.
- Open to training and learning from more experienced professionals.
- Flexible in juggling priority changes.
- Incorporates feedback well.
Desired:
- TikTok experience
- Experience in WordPress or Axero’s Communifire
- Photography skills
- Videography editing experience.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- One year of related experience is preferred.
