About This Role:
Kansas State University’s Aerospace and Technology Campus in Salina is seeking a dedicated Director of Pre-College Pathways to create and coordinate the K-12 education programs offered by the college. This position will facilitate the expansion of pre-college programs, aligning educational offerings and creating pathways across regional and nationwide ecosystems. In addition, the Director of Pre-College Pathways will establish and maintain strong relationships with high schools, industry partners, and community organizations to develop and grow reciprocal partnerships to advance pre-college education and workforce development initiatives in the aerospace and technology fields.
This is a regular 12-month, benefit-eligible position.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of secondary school experience highly preferred
- High school administration experience
- Master’s degree
- Experience partnering with community colleges and technical schools
- Strong communication skills for effective internal and external relationship development.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented, able to work independently.
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and educational experiences.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytic skills and experience using data to inform decisions.
- Evidence of effective budgetary management.
