We’re looking for an amazing Senior Analyst, Deployment Planning to fill this role. You’ll be responsible for the strategic development of our award-winning itineraries; recommending fleet deployments based on analysis of net contribution models, consumer trends, competitive activity, strategic marketing goals, decarbonization goals, and technical requirements; and collaborating cross-functionally across departments to drive the launch of our cruise programs. This position, through quantitative and qualitative analysis, will influence the future direction of the brand while working closely with teams throughout the company, including Marine Operations, Shore Excursions, Port Operations, Marketing, Product Management, Marketing Communications, Guest Experience, other brands within the Corporation, and our International Offices.

Responsibilities
- Prepares business cases for long-term strategic planning of our fleet of 16 ships and future newbuilds and presents for decision making to the Manager, Director, and senior executives.
- Develops new cruise itineraries from one to 116 days based on net contribution of ticket revenue, onboard revenue, port costs, and fuel consumption.
- Enhance itinerary efficiency to reduce carbon output as we aspire to become net carbon neutral by 2050.
- Completes historic qualitative and quantitative analysis of deployments, including price elasticity.
- Analyzes competitive data and develops informative dashboards utilizing industry and corporate resources.
- Works with the Consumer Insights team to survey past and prospective passengers to better understand current appeal of destinations and itineraries.
- Collaborate in cross-functional itinerary committee meetings with operations teams to balance logistics and safety needs with commercial considerations while creating award-winning itineraries.
- Develops solutions for prompt itinerary changes in response to external forces/crises, including political unrest, natural disasters, operational challenges, and more, while minimizing consumer impact.
Requirements
- 3-5 years travel industry experience in revenue management, finance, and/or itinerary planning preferred
- Cruise industry experience preferred
- Advanced analytical experience
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Proficient use of Microsoft Power Point and Word
- Project management experience
- Proficiency with visualization software including Tableau or Power BI, etc
- Strong team building skills
- Ability to solve problems with creative solutions
- Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Excellent organization skills with extreme attention to detail
- Excellent presenter and data-driven storyteller
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and build consensus
- Resilience to keep projects moving forward while working with ambiguity
- Passion and knowledge of worldwide destinations

- Base Salary Range: $ 84,700.00 to $ 114,400.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates’ qualifications and experience uniquely.
