So what will you be doing all day? You would join us as a Site Superintendent on Henderson Building Solutions (HBS) working on things like…
- Assists in creating the final schedule with the subcontractors and suppliers along with internal scheduling staff and all other internal clients.
- Provides input on the schedule of values and updates project completion percentages of all activities for billing purposes.
- Polices all site logistics for maximum efficiency and ensures client operations are never interrupted.
- Collaborates with Safety Director to maintain strict compliance with the organization’s safety plan.
- Provide ample communication to client to ensure project schedule is maintained should a disruption occur.
- Collaborates with client to accommodate union and/or non-union labor dispute resolution as needed.
- Implements and maintains the organization’s quality control plan for the project.
- Communicates all quality concerns to the Construction Manager and/or Regional Manager and collaborates to develop action plans.
- Keeps others well informed and prioritizes audiences, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Facilitates an efficient and consistent workflow and exchange of information.
- Leads by example, challenges assumptions, and creates candid feedback loops.
- Delivers on personal commitments and instills accountability in others.
- Maintains the confidence of clients and colleagues, especially when handling sensitive information.
- Recognizes areas for improvement and responds accordingly.
- Creates a sense of urgency to tackle problems and rewards responsiveness.

- Have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in field construction supervision.
- OSHA 30-hour certification required.
- Graduate of applicable trade school is preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred, including development and oversight of field crews.
- Thorough understanding of Federal, multi-state, and local construction safety regulations.
- Familiarity with construction industry practices, quality control processes, and standards.
- Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement necessary corrective measures.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
- Superior interpersonal skills, such as diplomacy, persuasion, assertiveness, and managerial courage.
- Excellent ability to establish and foster effective professional relationships with others, including employees at all levels of the organization, vendors, contractors, etc.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Ability to successfully navigate in a variety of settings, including on project sites.
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to operate a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
- Ability to stand and sit frequently.
- Routine driving to local/regional project sites required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Occasional overnight travel to other regional offices and/or remote project sites is required.
Anticipated salary range for this position may be $75,000 – $100,000
Salary may be higher or lower than the stated range depending on factors unrelated to the applicant’s race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ethnicity, age, or disability. Salary can vary from this range based on geographic cost of labor statistical differentials.
