Vita Coco is hiring an SG&A Finance Analyst to report directly to the FP&A Finance Manager. This role will be based out of our HQ-NY Office; we currently have a 2-3 days-per-week in-office requirement, to work from our Manhattan office.
Main Responsibilities:
• Key business partner to the Marketing team, responsible for accurately accounting for, understanding, managing and reporting spend
• Assists with the preparation of monthly variance analysis of overall SG&A results, including Marketing, IT, Broker Fees, and OpEx
• Prepares verbal and written analysis of results suitable for inclusion within Leadership or Board materials
• Investigates issues, supporting team members both within and outside of Finance to resolve items
• Prepares the budget and quarterly forecasts for Marketing spend, ensuring that financials are reviewed, variances are understood and that overall spend aligns with strategic directives
• Provides detailed analysis of changes to forecasts explaining variances and trends
• Supports the global strategic planning (3 Year Plan) for SG&A expenses
Qualifications:
Education Required:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
Years of Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
Key Skills & Abilities:
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Superior writing, communication, training, and presentation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Capacity to explain more complex accounting or finance concepts to a non-finance audience
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
- Able to put together financial models
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and ambitious; able to work independently and directly with senior management on special projects
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with SAP and TM1 is a plus
- CPG or Beverage Industry experience is a plus
- Experience in supporting a software or system implementation is a plus

At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include but are not limited to: skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $75,000-$80,000. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at 10% of base salary. This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.
